I work with adolescents and adults navigating stress, identity struggles, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is warm, direct, and practical, integrating CBT, DBT, and IFS-informed therapy to help clients build self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and move toward meaningful change. I understand that both teens and adults need space to feel seen, heard, and challenged in ways that fit their season of life. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment where growth feels both achievable and authentic.

While therapy can feel intimidating or uncomfortable, it is my priority to create a safe environment where clients can feel authentically themselves. I approach the therapeutic process as walking alongside you as we work toward the areas you feel are most important to you. I value warmth, genuineness, empathy, learning, and our relationship as the most essential components of therapy. From my experiences working with adults, I have witnessed the capabilities of therapy and the unwavering resilience of humans. You deserve to live a life free of the weights you carry. If you are willing to have me by your side, I would be honored to support you.

I believe that healing happens in a safe, compassionate space where your story is heard without judgment. As a therapist, I see you as the expert of your own experience — my role is not to ‘fix you,’ but to walk alongside you, offering tools, perspective, and encouragement as you navigate life’s challenges. I work with individuals who are moving through trauma, anxiety, major life transitions, questions of self-identity, and the impact of societal pressures. My practice is rooted in respect for each person’s unique journey, and I am proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming. In our work together, I often draw on Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a powerful approach that helps people process and heal from distressing memories without having to re-live every detail. I also integrate other evidence-based methods tailored to your needs, always keeping our sessions collaborative and client-centered. If you’re ready to explore, heal, and grow at your own pace, I’m here to offer a safe space where you can feel supported and truly seen.

Hello, I will offer you my utmost respect and encouragement throughout the therapy process. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Montana State University - Billings. I have worked for several mental health agencies, including positions in elementary schools, high schools, and on a college campus. Additionally, I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology and counseling at the university level. I have supervised graduate interns as they complete their hours toward licensing and have overseen an outpatient therapy department. Furthermore, I have served as a campus counselor, assisting college students with their personal growth and relationship issues. Having "hope" is one of the most important motivators to overcome life challenges. Finding "hope" can immediately change one's mood from despair to peace. I have significant experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, motivation, finding purpose, and life transitions. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, but we all need help to navigate this life. I will provide you with support, encouragement, an outside perspective, and space to explore productive options to steer your life in the right direction and, most importantly, find "hope." A whole stack of memories never equals one little hope.

I believe one of the biggest challenges we face when navigating uncertain, difficult, or trying periods of life is finding the courage to reach out and ask for help. One of the most important aspects of effective therapy is the relationship with your counselor. My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive, judgment-free space. I will meet you where you are, partner with you, and walk alongside you to achieve your goals. I am here to help you find hope and strength again. I look forward to working with you. I enjoy helping others navigate the challenges life brings, such as relationship issues, separation, parenthood, life transitions, sexuality, stress, anxiety, and depression. I believe in the transformative power of therapy—where compassion, honesty, and shared human experience meet. Each session is an opportunity to honor my clients’ stories and walk alongside them in their growth. My work is strengths-based, helping clients reframe their narratives and recognize their resilience. Drawing mainly from person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and reality therapy, I offer new perspectives, gentle challenges, and practical homework to support growth both inside and outside the session. I encourage open feedback and strive to create a safe, collaborative space where self-discovery and healing can unfold.

I moved from Arizona nine years ago to Colorado. I love all the adventure Colorado provides. Most of all, I love the cool summer nights and building a snowman in the winter. While here in Colorado, I have been attending school and have received two degrees in Applied Behavioral Psychology and one Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Therapy is a collaborative journey. As we work together, I believe symptoms can be reduced. I am a trauma-informed counselor who practices from an integrated systems perspective, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, non-directive approaches, indirect play therapy, and motivational interviewing. My therapeutic approach encompasses relational counseling with a focus on person-centered therapy. I also incorporate a strength-based and solution-focused approach. I also utilize modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Furthermore, I offer unconditional positive regard to all of my clients as we journey together in the counseling relationship.

Maybe everything hurts, our hearts shadowed and strange. But only when everything hurts may everything change. - Amanda Gorman. Everyone's lived experiences are vastly different and finding a therapist who can honor and understand these differences is essential to success. My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning that I believe in tailoring our sessions to meet your individual experiences, needs, and goals. From an LGBTQ+ inclusive feminist lens, my approach integrates the understanding that we must look at ourselves holistically within the context of our communities, relationships, society, and internal selves. No matter what you are facing, my ultimate goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, empowering space for you to explore your inner strength and see your true value. With proper support and guidance, you can heal and reach your full potential. My background includes mental health care for children, teenagers, and adults, survivors of violence and exploitation, gender and sexuality-affirming care, couples/relational care, and the processing of traumatic experiences. See below for further specializations and services. If you are ready to take the first step towards better mental health, I am here to support you every step of the way.
