What can you expect during your sessions?

Counseling and mental health care is becoming more common; it is viewed as an integral part of our all-around health and wellness. Studies continue to be published linking psychology with physical health. Many people are setting up their first appointment, and they may see it as unnerving because they don't know what to expect.

1. When you call (719) 345-2424 you'll be greeted with our scheduler that will book a time for your 1st session with the therapist of your choice.  You can view the profiles of our counselors in Colorado Springs here. 
2. During the intake call, we will gather pertinent contact information as well as your Member ID.
3. Most of the time, we will check benefits with Cigna while on the phone and pass along any added expenses that may be required from the client.  
4. After this, check your email for important intake paperwork that you can fill out and upload it in our client portal or bring it with you to your session. 
5. During your session with your counselor, you'll discuss the issues you are facing and set some goals.  At this point, you and your therapist can discuss how often you would like to continue to see each other.  The choice is up to you.
