I believe every individual has the capacity to define who they are and who they want to become, regardless of their past. My job is to help you reconnect, redefine, and re-imagine who you are by discovering what matters most to you. My primary goal as a counselor is to create a space for every individual to explore their lives and find opportunities to grow and create the change they want to see. I take a holistic approach to the counseling experience by exploring nutrition and physical activity with a unique therapeutic approach that combines CBT, Existentialism, Shadow Work, and Dream Analysis. My mission is to help you gain control over Stress and Anxiety, understand and transform past Trauma, navigate Life Transitions, and explore faith-based and spiritual concerns by re-establishing broken or lost connections with who you are, and what is most important to you.

I strongly admire all that social work represents, from relationship building and self-determination to skill strengthening and empowerment, as well as cultivating agency and self-advocacy among individuals and communities, and highlighting the importance of putting systems theory into practice. I apply this concept and consider the biological, psychological, and social-environmental influences on clients and the community. I also recognize and apply the framework of intersectionality as it relates to my clients. Emphasizing a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist lens while engaging in therapy. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Colorado Mesa University in 2019. I then graduated from Colorado State University with a master's degree in social work in 2021. I am currently working towards obtaining my Doctorate in social work from Capella University. During my down time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. listening to podcasts, reading books, cooking delicious foods, shopping, and staying active

Hi and welcome to your journey toward a better, more authentic you. I am a clinical mental health counselor who strives to support you in achieving your goals. I hope to walk this journey with you, providing a safe space for you to be vulnerable and discover your inner strength and beauty. I am passionate about helping adolescents with eating disorders. With my background working with this population and understanding the personal effects this illness can have, I aim to empower you on your road to recovery and instill the belief that recovery is not only possible but also worth it! I received my bachelor’s in Psychology and Biohealth Sciences from Oregon State University in 2017 and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022 from Adams State University. I completed my practicum in crisis services and my internship in an intensive outpatient program for children and adolescents. I have experience in community mental health, including crisis services, addiction, school-based counseling, and outpatient behavioral health services, as well as in an intensive outpatient program for adolescents with eating disorders. In these various roles, I have worked with clients experiencing the effects of ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and behavioral disorders. The therapeutic approaches I use include Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-based Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am also trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy. My hope is to provide my clients with skills, identify their strengths, and eliminate barriers to assist them in moving toward healing and gaining autonomy. I was born in Oregon and raised in Montana. I moved to Colorado with my husband in 2019, where we are now raising our children. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, watching professional sports, coaching soccer, reading, and playing with my children (both two-legged and four-legged).

I believe everyone should have access to counseling and the opportunity to feel truly seen, heard, and supported. With experience working with children, adults, individuals living with substance use, and those impacted by social injustice, I bring a person-centered, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approach to every interaction. My lived experience deepens my empathy, while cultural humility keeps me grounded and open to continual learning. It’s a privilege to walk alongside others on their path to healing and empowerment.

As a therapist, I believe that healing begins in relationships - especially the one you have with yourself. I offer a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where you can explore your inner world, reconnect with your authentic self, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. My approach integrates person-centered therapy, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and relational psychodynamic work. I specialize in working with people navigating anxiety, attachment wounds, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, high sensitivity, and neurodivergence. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that once helped them survive but are no longer serving them. Together, we explore those patterns with curiosity and compassion, not judgment. Clients often describe me as calming, present, and easy to talk to. At the same time, I am an active therapist: I don’t sit back silently, but instead engage thoughtfully, ask meaningful questions, and offer gentle guidance when needed. I see therapy as a shared journey, one where my role is to provide both a safe haven and a catalyst for meaningful change. Growth often involves discomfort, and I aim to support you in stretching just enough to foster that change, without overwhelming your system. Ultimately, I want therapy with me to feel like a place where you can bring your full self, messy, uncertain, hopeful, tender, and be met with care, insight, and genuine connection. In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about research and am currently pursuing my PhD, focusing on culture shock, reverse culture shock, fluctuations in self-concept, and belonging.

I believe that life and mental health are a journey. My job is to walk alongside you on this journey until you feel comfortable navigating life on your own. Therapy is essential for unlocking the best versions of ourselves. I am an LPCC in the state of Colorado, and I look forward to working with you. I have worked in mental health for the past seven years, including roles as a mental health technician in a hospital, answering crisis intervention phone lines, providing in-person crisis intervention, and offering individual clinical mental health therapy. It can be challenging to navigate life's twists and turns alone. Feeling safe with others is probably the most critical aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.†- Bessel Van Der Kolk.  I believe that we all deserve relationships that we feel emotionally safety within. Relationships where we can get in touch with our emotions and feel truly felt by another person. I believe in the power of sharing our stories and being seen and "feeling with" another human being can be an incredibly healing experience. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work(SWC). As a therapist, I strive to provide others with outside insight, helpful information, and empathy to help you normalize your struggles. I bring good listening skills, and a little gentle humor to each session. My practice is rooted in attachment theory and pulls on IFS and Narrative work.  I am happy to work with clients who have a variety of challenges including- relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and LGBTQ support!"Recovery can only take place within the context of relationships; it cannot occur within isolation." -Judith Herman
