I will share a bit about me and why I approach therapy in a nonjudgmental way, eager to understand your unique perspective and what life experiences have lead you there. I have always enjoyed listening to and validating others' emotions and experiences and knew I wanted to be a therapist since I was 17 years old. Obtaining my master's degree in counseling only cemented that I had made the correct career choice; I really loved learning about psychology how to help people with their mental health. Since 2010, I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, with a range of ages from young adults to geriatric clients. I have worked in substance abuse treatment centers and am trained in substance abuse therapy. I have extensive experience running all types of groups and enjoy doing so. I have personally gone through some extremely difficult experiences in my life, including divorce/custody battle, an autistic son who committed suicide, and abuse/trauma. I share this only to say that I can relate to many of the challenges my clients face and thus have a deep level of empathy for their pain. Of course, your experiences are unique to you and only you can know what your journey has been like. You are the expert on your own life and I look forward to the honor of walking with you as you realize how resilient you truly are.

One of the most important aspects of how successful therapy can be is the relationship with your Counselor. My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive, judgment-free space. I will meet you where you are, partner with you, and walk alongside you to achieve your goals. I am here to help you find hope and strength again. I look forward to working with you.

I enjoy helping others navigate the challenges life brings such as, relationship issues, separation,  parenthood, life transitions, sexuality, stress, anxiety, and depression. I believe all individuals have innate, unique strengths. My goal is to partner with you to discover those strengths and help you to thrive.

I believe therapy is an essential key to unlocking the best versions of ourselves. My job is to walk alongside you on that journey.  I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado and South Carolina with over 8 years of experience in the field.

I have fulfilled roles both in direct therapy and administrative social work and love using clinical skills just as much as I enjoy working behind the scenes.  I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado and South Carolina with over 8 years of experience in the field. I have fulfilled roles both in direct therapy and administrative social work and love using clinical skills just as much as I enjoy working behind the scenes. I am a faith-based therapist and military spouse who is passionate about working with those facing faith issues and life transitions.

I also have a lot of experience using CBT for anxiety and depression, as well as mediating relationship/peer issues. I believe that while therapists have the clinical knowledge to guide others toward healthier lives, our clients are truly the experts in the therapeutic relationship. I appreciate the vulnerability that is often required in therapy and will honor whoever is willing to sit in that chair with empathy, compassion, and respect. I am energized by seeing those I work with make progress, no matter how big or small, and hope that those who entrust their stories to me will leave our time feeling better than they arrived.
