Colorado's "I Matter" Program Receives Additional Funding

Colorado's "I Matter" website, a free mental health services portal for youth, has been approved for additional funding.

The program launched in 2021 and saw 1,500 appointments scheduled in the first two months. This means if your child or teenager is seeking some free mental health in Colorado Springs, you might qualify through this program.

An additional $6 million in funding will come from the American Rescue Plan Act. This will provide funding so the program can last through June 30, 2023, at least.

Colorado's commitment to youth mental health is evident in this program. If you or someone you know is struggling, please visit the "I Matter" website for help.

Mental health is an important issue for people of all ages, but it is particularly important for young people.

The teenage years can be a challenging time, and many young people face significant pressures and stressors.

As a result, mental health issues such as anxiety and depression are relatively common among adolescents.

However, there is still a lot of stigma surrounding mental health, and many young people feel reluctant to seek help.

This is why it is so important to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and to provide support for young people who are struggling.

There are many organizations that offer therapy and counseling services specifically for young people, and these services can make a tremendous difference in their lives.
