25 Parenting Memes

The internet can be a rather wonderful place, especially if you are feeling down.

There are so many fun websites that can help to take our minds off of things.

Plus, there are memes.

So many memes!

A "meme" is, in essence, a funny picture with text on it, created with the intent to make others laugh.

The world could use a lot more laughter. It's good for the mind, body, and soul.

As parents, we can get run down sometimes, and need to take a break.

What better way to pass the time while you are relaxing than with hilarious parenting memes?

Here are 25 parenting memes that will have you laughing up a storm.

1. Oh, Pants

You can just picture it, that one time when your little one just wouldn't get dressed, no matter what.

But, in order to go out, we have to explain to them that they need to put clothes on.

2. That can't be good

When you know your child is up to something, and you look around and you find a marker lid, but no marker, you just know that you are going to find a "masterpiece" by your child somewhere in the house.

3. Just one conversation.

Our kiddos always seem to have selective hearing when it comes to things that we parents say. It's just part of their nature and as they mature, they listen more. But in those younger years, they can pick up on an adult conversation a mile away, and be there on the spot to see what you are talking about!

4. There's nothing better

Nothing quite is as sweet as having a conversation with a toddler. They have their own sweet way of communicating with you and the world around them. So, indeed, answer the phone when the kiddos are calling. They're sure to lift your spirit.

5. "Getting Dressed"

Oh, there is no better feeling than when you have all gotten home, and dinners over and everyone is settling in. The only thing that makes it even better is  our favorite pair of comfy pajamas! But an even better feelingRocking some really great yoga pants that are just as comfortable as pajamas!

6. Forever Their Snack Holder

We all need a little secret snack break, even the kiddos! We could be wearing a full length dress or suit, and we'd still have to hold our little one's snacks.

7. What Is Sleep?

If you're a parent, you can completely relate to this meme. Sleep is a precious but fleeting commodity, and we grab it when we can. As parents, we do need to get a good night's sleep, though. Remember, we can't "pour from an empty cup."

8. Just A Small Bite

Oh, how wonderful grandparents are! They are truly family gems. Plus, when it comes to your child, you know they couldn't be in safer hands than with your parents. Just be prepared for a hyper child when you get back!

9. Its Still Bedtime, Though!

Sure, we try to get them to slow down during the day to drink and eat, but they won't have any of it. But bam! When its time for bed, they all of a sudden want a drink and they become tiny philosophers who want to keep talking in order to avoid bedtime.

10. Splash!

Every time that you have to give your child a bath, this is what you picture. Now you know better and lay towels all over bathroom before bathtime!

11.  Telling Stories

Bless their precious hearts, children are such creative storytellers. They can weave a tale out of thin air. While they may seem long-winded at times, we wouldn't have it any other way.

12. The Big Project

So many kids will do this at one point or another during their time in school. But, we as parents come through for them by making sure they have all the supplies for them. It's just what we do.

13.  What A Concept!

It may confuse people, but actually putting things where they belong and decluttering is actually good for you!

14. Always

Its funny because its totally true. Our sleep schedules are never the same after we have a child, but we wouldn't trade it for the world.

15.  Keep Asking

From the day that our children start going to school, to up to when they graduate, you can ask "how was your day?" and they'll either not answer or just say it was "okay." But that's okay, we keep asking anyway, because we love them.

 16. Christmas Morning

Its safe to say that quite a few parents do this! But its so much fun to see the looks on their faces when they open up their gifts on Christmas morning!

17.  Toddlers and Their Toys

This is so accurate when it comes to little kids and getting them ready to go somewhere! They are too cute though, when they try to bring just about every toy they have, even if you are just going to the store to get milk.

18. Mom Buns

Oh, the infamous "mom buns!" They are one of the most comfortable hairstyles when you're a mama, and you've got to be comfortable, so keep rocking those buns!

19. It's All About Sharing

When it comes to marriage and parenting, this is a true show of love right here, secretly sharing candy with each other.

20.  Fancy Pants!

Sometimes when we go out, we pull on a pair of jeans.

They are comfortable, and it's important to be comfortable!

21.  They ARE Expensive

Oh goodness, school pictures are a fun time of year!

Of course, since they're taken at school, we can't guide our kids on how to smile!

But that is the fun of it all, seeing how these fun school memories will turn out!

22.  Oh, Bananas

Toddlers are little ones that are still figuring out what they like to eat and what they don't.

So, one day, your kiddo might like bananas, and the next day they don't.

Maybe the next day they will again!

23. Time To Wake Up!

Sometimes, waking up can be hard, for both parents and kids.

That's why sometimes it's a good idea to have a weekend of rest and relaxation.

24. The "Look"

Well, maybe not exactly like that.

But, all of us parents have a special "look" that we have to sometimes give our children to give them a gentle nudge to behave.

25. It's You.

Becoming a parent is one of the most rewarding experiences in the world. While it can be hard sometimes, it is the most amazing feeling in the whole world.

Conclusion

We hope that these memes provided a little bit of laughter and levity to your day.

Remember that parenting is a constant learning journey where we are continually evolving and learning more about our children.

There is no black and white way of parenting. You do you and parent your way.
