CSR of the Pikes Peak Region needs your help to advocate for victims of child abuse and neglect. You can volunteer in our Dependency & Neglect (D&N), Supervised Exchange Program, or Milton Foster Children's Fund programs.
D&N Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are trained volunteers (who have been appointed by a Judge) and they advocate for the best interests of neglected children, who have experienced abuse, in the dependency & Neglect court system.
Milton Foster Children's Fund provides grants to D&N CASAs to help meet the "extras" that foster children need - like clothes, shoes, school supplies, tutoring, and summer camp.

Mental health should be a priority for everyone. It is important to get involved in the community and support those who suffer from mental illness.
There are many ways to get involved, and each one makes a difference. Volunteering your time shows that you care and can make a difference in someone's life.
Mental health difficulties can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or socioeconomic status. In fact, one in five adults in the United States will experience a mental health disorder in any given year.
Given the high prevalence of mental illness, it's clear that mental health should be a priority for everyone in Colorado Springs.
Unfortunately, many people are reluctant to seek help for their mental health problems due to the stigma that still surrounds mental illness.
However, therapy can be an extremely effective treatment for mental health difficulties, and there is no shame in seeking help from a professional.
By breaking down the stigma around mental health, we can encourage more people to seek the help they need.
As a result, we can make our community a healthier and happier place for everyone.
If you're looking for a way to give back that is both personally and professionally gratifying, mental health volunteering may be the perfect fit for you.
