Counselors For Adults In Colorado Springs

Counselors For Adults In Colorado Springs

Sometimes, life can throw us curve balls. Highs and lows, ups and downs.

Things can certainly get heavy sometimes, and you might just need someone to talk to.

That is where a good counselor can come in.

They can help you learn more about yourself, help you set attainable goals for yourself, and equip you with the tools that you may need to address your current situation.

There is nothing wrong with seeking help for things that may be out of our control.

They are not there to judge you as a person, but to understand you as a person, your core beliefs and habits, and will give you some wonderful insight into how to work out your situation in a safe space.

If you are looking for counselors for adults in Colorado Springs, our list will shed some insight into counseling itself, and some of our counselors.

What Is Counseling?

Counseling is, simply put, having someone unbiased to talk to.

They are there to give you resources and tools, as well as let you speak freely and openly about anything that may be going on in your life.

You are free to explore more about yourself in this safe space with a counselor, and set goals for yourself.

It is also an opportunity to explore things with others, too.

There are many types of counseling, including marriage counseling, addiction counseling, anxiety and depression counseling, and many more issues that can be worked through with a counselor.

How To Set An Appointment With Us

When you feel that you are ready to set an appointment up with one of our counselors, you can do so by following the easy steps below, and we will make sure to get you all set up with a therapist of your choice.

1. First, when you call (719) 345-2424, you will be greeted by one of our receptionists, who will assist you throughout the call.

2. They will help you book an appointment with the counselor of your choice.

You can see all of our available counselors in Colorado Springs by clicking here

Take some time to look through each counselor to find one that is suitable to your needs or the issues you may be facing.

3. During the initial call, you will be asked for your insurance and contact information. The receptionist will verify your insurance coverage.

4. Afterwards, an e-mail will be sent to you containing your intake paperwork.

You may either print it out, fill it out, and bring it with you to your initial visit with your counselor.

Alternatively, you can instead upload the paperwork into our client portal.

5. When the day of your appointment arrives, you will be able to speak to your counselor about what has been bothering you or explore what are the best methods of helping you.

At the end of your first session, you will be able to talk to your counselor about when you would like to see them next, and you can easily schedule your next appointment.
