Shawna Fishman, LMFT, LAC

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I have over 25 years' experience I assist adults, young adults, and adolescent women to identify or clarify the conflict or block to living fully. Together with my clients we develop and practice the skills needed to achieve and maintain their personal goals. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person is innately whole. However, trauma and emotional wounds cloud our natural ability to feel at peace with ourselves. I believe that therapy as a collaborative process, where I am a support guiding my clients to uncover their own wisdom, healing, and aliveness. My approach is direct, kind, non-judgemental and strength based. I use a present-moment focus that invites my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings in new ways.

Teletherapy (video or phone sessions) is a great alternative to in-person therapy if desired, and I would be honored to support you during this time of uncertainty.
