Donna Janiec, LPC

We all need help now and again through life's seasons and situations. I believe that we are created holistically (body, mind, spirit) with the ability for self-awareness, having freedom and responsibility for our lives. Individuals have needs for a unique identity and to be in relationship with others. We all have the desire to derive meaning and purpose for our lives. With these attributes and guidance, we can purposefully use our thought processes to change behaviors, work through relationship issues, learn to manage obstacles, and navigate changing life stages.

I have a family tradition with the Armed Forces as a dependent, spouse, and DoD civilian, which has given me firsthand knowledge of the military culture. I bring a lifetime of experience to sessions combined with evidence-based counseling practices. I specialize in helping clients with trauma, PTSD, addiction, grief & loss, depression, and anxiety.

Together, we will create a cooperative relationship, with you as an expert in your life.  I will stand beside you to help you realize how resilient you are or can be, that you have value, are worthy of respect, and that hope and meaning may be found, even in difficult situations.

Teletherapy (video or phone sessions) is a great alternative to in-person therapy if desired, and I would be honored to support you during this time of uncertainty.
