Using an integrative approach that blends acceptance, compassion, research-based cognitive and somatic treatments, and mindfulness, I specialize in helping people identify and address the blocks that keep them from achieving what they envision in their lives. By gently and compassionately addressing coping issues that contribute to stress, anxiety, depression, and other unpleasant sensations, even a few counseling sessions can help reduce negative thoughts and create changes that lead to a happier and healthier experience. As issues diminish, clients can go on to achieve their personal goals without the weight of unnecessary baggage that may have been tagging along. Using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness techniques, and other therapeutic interventions, I take pride in seeing clients prevail over issues that have deterred their progress for years. I am trauma-informed and use effective tools to gently help you address past and present traumas in order to overcome their negative impact on your life.

It is my hope that in our sessions we can target and address problem issues, work on developing clear and open communication and make concrete action plans for changes you want to foster. I work to create an environment that’s supportive and empathic while also challenging to old patterns. I believe in the importance of balancing the mind, body and spirit and use modalities that support this. Many people find renewed strength and vision for their lives just in knowing they're not alone on their journey. If you feel like you might benefit from a session with me, please reach out. Life has been especially trying as of late. If you're seeking support, I would love to connect.
