First and foremost is the care for the person across from me in session. Because of this, I bring in some of the different approaches I specialize in, Adlerian, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Focused, and Reality Therapy. These are approaches that increase awareness, provide insight, and ultimately give empowerment to make changes in life. It's not a perfect world and sometimes bad things happen, this is where therapy comes in. I believe in the healing power of processing life events and painful experiences, as humans, we can adapt and grow! Over the time that I've been talking with people, I have gained experience in working with childhood trauma, digital media and porn addiction, domestic violence issues, grief/loss, and identity struggles. At present, I specialize in treating individuals in adulthood. As a veteran, I also enjoy serving the military community and have insight into the trials and tribulations that come with the military lifestyle. 

Being a native of Colorado and living in the Colorado Springs area, I truly enjoy the beautiful scenery, incredible mountain views, and how many activities I can fit into one day. When not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my Akita, Bear, as well as reading, checking out new games, and discovering different coffee shops.
