Katie (Kate) Castillo, MS, LPCC

I specialize in Attachment Theory and a trauma-informed approach that emphasizes providing a corrective relational experience and a safe therapeutic environment. I emphasize meeting the individual where they are in their process and walking with them in their journey as they work towards healing from painful experiences. I enjoy treating individuals ranging from adolescence into adulthood and also couples. I also enjoy serving the military community and have insight into the trials and tribulations that come with the military lifestyle. I provide gender-affirming care and support the LGBTQIA+ community, people of color, and other minority groups.

While still new to Colorado Springs, I have thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery, incredible mountain views, and the warm and friendly people that I have met during my time here. When not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my cats, and challenging myself with baking recipes to try.
