Life happens, and sometimes we find it hard to cope with situations. This does not mean that all is lost. All we need at such a time is someone who can listen to our story, empathize with us, and help us develop coping strategies to move on. As a clinician, I believe it takes a lot of strength to take that initial step toward opening yourself and beginning to heal from things that have felt overwhelming. I am here to support you, for I believe finding the right provider is an essential part of successful therapy.

My focus is to work with you to find the approach that best matches your needs, goals, and concerns. I will create a safe environment, and together we can develop a working relationship built on respect, trust, and professional ethics. The aim is to help you gain insight and develop strategies as you work through your challenges. Though change is a process, I will support you as you implement the strategy. This is with the hope that you will find answers, thus fostering healing and wellness in your life.

My Ph.D. dissertation topic was “Motivational Interviewing: A tool for servant leadership.” I use the Motivational Interviewing strategy to support leaders, supervisors, middle-level managers, and mentors in organizations. Motivational Interviewing is an evidence-based method that has been proven to work in clinical settings. I believe it can also be applied in organizations to motivate and keep employees engaged in the place of work, thus increasing harmony and productivity in organizations. I was trained by the Father of Motivational Interviewing, Dr. Miller, and I am happy to share my expertise and knowledge.
