I have a passion for working with women...

About Me

Hello! I have a passion for working with women to heal and become empowered and self-fulfilled. I also have extensive training in Brainspotting; which is a deeply effective intervention for traumas that impact daily functioning and well-being.

As a Brainspotting clinician, I am passionate about helping my clients become the best they can be by helping them to heal past trauma, develop their own voice as well as develop the skills needed to navigate difficult and complex situations in life. I feel it is imperative as a clinician and fellow human to understand that no one is defined by one experience. My therapeutic focus is founded in a person-centered, interpersonal neurobiological, and trauma-informed approach, utilizing attachment and developmental theory. I believe it is imperative as a clinician and fellow human to understand that no one is defined by one experience and to walk alongside my clients with humility, self-awareness, and honesty.

I have worked in child protection with parents, children, adolescents, and families doing in-home services, parenting education, and teen advocacy. I have also been a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). I have facilitated Nurturing Parenting program classes focusing on building family-centered building on family-centered trauma-informed nurturing parenting skills. I am passionate about continued education and learning how cultural differences impact us as individuals and communities. I look forward to sharing this journey with you!

I have experience working with clients of all ages but my current focus is working with older female adolescents (ages 16 and 17) and women ages 18 and older.  I have a passion for working with women to navigate the spectrum of struggles and issues and helping women become empowered and self-fulfilled. I have experience working with issues ranging from childhood and later in life trauma, infertility, grief and loss, parenting struggles, life transitions, identity issues, relationship challenges, and many other difficulties and situations. I have extensive training in Brainspotting; which is a deeply effective intervention for trauma and negative experiences that impact daily functioning and well-being. I have completed Expansion Brainspotting as well as phases 1 and 2 and am working toward my Brainspotting certification. As a Brainspotting clinician, I feel it is the client that is the authority on their own experience and has the innate knowledge in realizing their own healing and possibilities - my role is to create an authentic and comfortable space to cultivate the healing process within the client. I believe it is through the therapeutic relationship and the unlimited potential of the client that creates the foundation for life-changing healing and insight through trust, compassion, and respect.
