I have previous experience working as an RN in intensive care, neurology/trauma, and as a firefighter/medic working in prehospital emergency medicine.
I currently teach at Regis University in the undergraduate nursing program. As a strong proponent of education and leadership in my field, I aim to usher in the next generation of nurses in such a way that they're confident, competent, and passionate about the health and happiness of our world. I understand the difficulty of finding an available provider who listens to their clients and exercises ethical and compassionate prescribing. Recognizing the importance of involving my clients in the decision-making process as often as possible is paramount to the way I function as a provider.
I want you to feel heard and supported. I prioritize the goals of my clients while utilizing safe, effective, and evidence-based prescribing. I recognize that it is important for my clients to feel confident and comfortable with their treatment plan, and I'm a patient and willing listener, just as I am an educator for my clients. As a strong advocate for medication education, I will also ensure you know what to expect from your treatment plan, and how it will impact you. My ultimate goal as a provider is to guide you to a place of better understanding. I aim to provide you with the tools you need to help you on your personal journey to healthiness and happiness.
