Ages

I have experience working with clients of all ages but my current focus is working with adolescents (14 to 17), adults and couples. I have extensive training in Brainspotting; which is a deeply effective trauma intervention and have completed phases 1 and 2 and am in the process of becoming certified. As a Brainspotting therapist, I feel it is the client that is the authority on their own experience and has the innate knowledge in realizing their own healing and possibilities - my role is to create an authentic and comfortable space to cultivate the healing process within the client. I believe it is through the therapeutic relationship and the unlimited potential of the client that creates the foundation for life-changing healing and insight through trust, compassion, and respect. I also work with couples and am in the process of becoming certified through The Couples Institute. My work with couples is founded in a developmental model; where we look at the stages within relationships as well as how childhood experiences and attachments inform our current attachment patterns in order to understand how to grow and have successful partnerships. I also enjoy working with adults and adolescents in many different areas; ranging from childhood and later in life trauma, parenting struggles, life transitions, identity issues, relationship challenges, and many other difficulties and situations.
