About Me

One day we may wake up and realize that something in our life is incomplete. Whether that means healing or learning from the past, embracing and living in the present, or seeking support and encouragement to change the future....

It is my joy and pleasure to not only offer a safe, supportive environment of healing, but to help you embrace the unique experience of today, and build skills to achieve future goals.

I believe that every individual is unique and deserves to be treated individually based on their unique experiences, beliefs, and goals. We all have a desire to be heard, emotionally validated, and guided towards our own unique vision of happiness. Through emotional exploration, healing, and skill-building we can collaborate to guide you towards a path of happiness and enlightenment while learning how to overcome life's challenges and obstacles.

A key component of my approach as a counselor is to help you to build trust in exploring your experiences and emotions while empowering you to obtain new skills that may build trust within yourself and bring to light the strengths that you already have. My best strength as a counselor is my experience working with vast populations giving me understanding, insight, and empathy into many different areas of conflict.

The main areas of specialization that I have are substance use treatment and treatment with children. I have worked with foster families in conjunction with parents, children, adolescents, and foster parents doing in-home services, parenting education, and trauma treatment. I have worked in community case management and clinical services focusing on addiction, trauma, domestic violence, family systems, and mental health issues.

I have also worked in the Colorado prison system and with court-ordered populations such as parole and probation, giving me further insight into the families that were also affected. I have a great passion for increasing communication skills and conflicts in relationships. I am passionate about continued education and consistently seek new educational opportunities to expand my knowledge to better assist unique client issues and perspectives.

I am excited to begin this journey with you and look forward to the insight and experience that I gain from this journey alongside you!
